Wolearn invited two teams from China to participate the UK's largest student games festival Brains Eden, which is held annually at Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge, this year between 30th June – 3rd July. Students from Huazhong University of Sciences and Technology designed and developed a collaborative leisure game under the theme “give and take” which won the best mobile game at the 48 hours game jam competition.
Wolearn was the proud winner of the Education Award category at the 11th Annual NW England Greater China Awards on Friday, 19th February 2016.
Organised by UK Trade & Investment, the 2016 event was held at The Lowry Theatre, Salford (UK). The award given to Wolearn was in recognition of the organisation’s innovativion in establishing educational links with China.
The Web Science MOOC created by the university of Southampton which has been integrated into a computer science course by Beijing Normal University (BNU). 87 first year undergraduate students who are studying “An Introduction to Computer Science” have signed up for the course on Futurelearn.
